Round 1 Silva narrowly dodges a cross from Maurice, but falls catching him in his guard. Stevenson attempts to set in a hammer lock from being caught in the guard. Nico slips out of it at the last moment. "The Phreako" starts to create some distance with his legs, Maurice Stevenson capitalizes by passing to side control. Stevenson lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Maurice Stevenson slides his knee across the body of Silva and takes full mount. Nico Silva attempts to escape mount but has no luck. Maurice Stevenson telegraphs his motions for an armbar, but Nico gives up his back to stop the attempt. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 "The Phreako" lands a double jab. "The Phreako" wraps around Maurices waist, and drags him to his back, taking side control Nico lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Maurice gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. "The Phreako" tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Round 3 Nico is staggered by a jab to the chin. A jab from "The Phreako" is blocked and a cross is returned by Maurice. A jab from Nico Silva is blocked and a cross is returned by Maurice Stevenson. Nico throws a wild punch, putting him off balance. A few well timed strikes from Stevenson puts Nico on the mat giving his back up. Nico carefully protects himself from Maurice Stevensons strikes. "The Phreako" rolls back into being mounted. The round comes to an end.
