Round 1 Barbosa dives in for a takedown but the momentum of the attempt ends in a scramble back to their feet. Fransico throws a push kick. Michio Uesugi shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Fransico Barbosas nose.
Michio gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. Fransico lands a series of heavy punches forcing Michio Uesugi to roll to his back, giving Fransico mount. Uesugi attempts to buck Fransico Barbosa off from mount but Fransico Barbosa keeps his base and maintains position. Barbosa maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 Michio fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Fransico. Uesugi works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Uesugi dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Barbosa standing over him. Barbosa attempts to drop a fist on Michio Uesugi, but misses and lands in his guard. Michio starts to lock a triangle. Fransico postures up and Fransico settles for a few stiff chops to Michio Uesugis face. Michio Uesugi pulls "All Violence Team" close and connects with a few heel strikes to the back. Barbosa tries to pass guard but Michio stops him with a well timed punch. Michio Uesugi attempts a armbar from his guard, but Barbosa postures up and leans back to avoid the submission. Michio Uesugi is able to use the opportunity to switch him into mount. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 Michio Uesugi keeps Barbosa at a distance with some well timed jabs. A sloppy scooping ankle block is pulled of by Michio Uesugi. Fransico is able to pull him into his guard. Michio attempts to set in a hammer lock from being caught in the guard. Barbosa slips out of it at the last moment. Michio defends a triangle attempt, throwing Fransicos straight leg over his head and makes a move for side control. "All Violence Team" is able to hold him to half guard. Fransico Barbosa tries to slip his leg out to get full guard, but is having difficulty. Michio Uesugi tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. Michio Uesugi slams his knee into Fransicos ribs. Round 3 is over.
