Round 1
"newbie" attempts to press in but Dustin Barber uses a inside reaping to put "newbie" on the canvas. Dustin Barber hops to side control. Isamu Yamabe takes a few knees to the body while under "Easter Surprises" side control. Dustin Barber moves to north-south position. Yamabe begins to roll out from under Dustin Barber but Dustin Barber is able scramble to "newbies" back. "newbie" starts to wiggle out of back control, "Easter Surprise" lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Yamabe clinches with Barber and pulls guard but Barber gets in his half guard on the way down. Dustin Barber is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Isamu Yamabe gives his back up trying to escape the mount. "newbie" starts to wiggle out of back control, Dustin lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Yamabe connects with a jab cross combination. "Easter Surprise" shoots in for a takedown but the attempt is stuffed by Yamabe. "Easter Surprise" sneaks a foot behind Isamus leg and takes him to the mat, landing in side control. Dustin Barber gets an overhook on the head and grabs his own thigh then proceeds to step over into north south position. Isamu Yamabe twists and scrambles out to standing. The bell signals the end of round 1.

Round 2
Barber tries to hyperextend the knee of Yamabe with a kick to the kneecap. Yamabe hops back to avoid it. Dustin Barber plows through Isamu with a driving double leg takedown. "newbie" attempts an armbar. "Easter Surprise" time a spin perfectly landing a strong overhand as he works his way into Isamu Yamabes guard. Yamabe attempts a triangle but is set to high and "Easter Surprise" is able to chuck him and take side control. Round 2 is finished.

Round 3
Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. "Easter Surprise" narrowly dodges a cross from Yamabe, but falls catching him in his guard. Yamabe tries to move to half guard but Barber uses the opportunity to land several strikes and return to full guard. Isamu presses the action while in the guard, but Barber is able to switch him into mount. "Easter Surprise" punishes Yamabe with a series of strikes from the mount. Isamu throws a leg off and reaches around the back of "Easter Surprise" capturing back control.Round 3 comes to a close.
