Round 1 Rudy Mullins connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Barros. Rudy Mullins connects with a series of punches forcing Barros into a clinch. Victor Barros takes Mullinss back standing. Mullins isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but Victor Barros lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Mullins to release. Barros is staggered by a jab to the chin. Mullins connects with a series of punches forcing Victor Barros into a clinch. Rudy is in the clinch with Victor, and changes levels for a beautiful double leg takedown. Victor attempts an armbar. Rudy Mullins time a spin perfectly landing a strong overhand as he works his way into Victors guard. Rudy defends a triangle attempt, throwing Barross straight leg over his head and makes a move for side control. Barros is able to hold him to half guard. Barros hits an upward elbow on Mullins, and attempts to get to full guard. During the scramble though Mullins takes side control. Mullins throws his knee into the ribs of Victor. Rudy postures up and lands a couple of strong elbows to the head of Barros. Barros rolls away from Rudy but Rudy follows him and takes his back. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Rudy Mullins connects with a series of punches forcing Victor into a clinch. Victor Barros takes Mullinss back standing. Victor Barros lands a couple of uppercuts from behind. Rudy is able to work his way back around. Barros decides to abandon the clinch by pulling guard and bringing Rudy Mullins with him. Rudy Mullins attempts to set in a hammer lock from being caught in the guard. Barros slips out of it at the last moment. Victor lands a stiff elbow while on his back. Barros grabs the arm of Rudy while in guard and holds tight eating shots to ribs. Victor powers out sweeping Rudy with pure strength. Victor is now in side control. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 Barros connects with a hard punch making Rudy bring him in to a tight clinch. Barros takes Mullinss back standing. Barros lands a couple of uppercuts from behind. Rudy is able to work his way back around. Mullins takes Victor Barross back standing, but Victor isolates an arm and locks a spinning kimura but Mullins squirms out and both fighters end up standing. Victor lands a double jab. Victor parries Rudy Mullinss jab and connect with a cross. Victor winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Victor Barros catches a leg kick and fires a hard punch to the head dropping Rudy Mullins. Barros hovers over Rudy pushing his legs to the side and throwing punches down at his body and head. Rudy sends a hard up kick that rocks Barros. Rudy stands back up. Round 3 is finished.
