Round 1
Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Hayes connects with a strong right hook. Hafez Baraghani throws a wild punch, putting him off balance. A few well timed strikes from Hayes puts Hafez Baraghani on the mat giving his back up. "From Cabin Creek" begins to look for a rear naked choke, but Hafez rolls to being mounted instead. Baraghani attempts to escape mount but has no luck. "From Cabin Creek" jumps out of mount and back to dominant side control. Round 1 is finished.

Round 2
Hafez Baraghani hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. Zeke connects with a strong body shot combo. Hafez Baraghani executes a single leg giving him the back of Hayes. Zeke Hayes tries to stand up but Baraghani plants him back down with several strikes. Zeke starts to wiggle out of back control, Hafez Baraghani lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Hayes throws a cross that easily dodged by Baraghani. Hafez Baraghani stuffs a shot from Zeke and lands several shots to his body. Zeke attempts to pull guard but Hafez Baraghani makes it to side mount. The bell signals the end of round 2.

Round 3
Zeke connects with a series of punches forcing Hafez into a clinch. Zeke Hayes places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. "From Cabin Creek" attempts to pull guard, but slips, putting him on the ground, and with Baraghani standing over him. Hafez Baraghani attempts to drop a fist on Zeke, but misses and lands in his guard. "From Cabin Creek" gets his arm underneath the neck of Hafez Baraghani while putting his opposite arm on the back of the head. Hafez Baraghani powers out of the attempted choke. "From Cabin Creek" shifts his hips to get better position in the guard. Zeke lands a stiff elbow while on his back. Zeke attempts an armbar from the bottom, but Hafez Baraghani slips out at the last moment. Round 3 comes to a close.
