Round 1 Davide fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Mike. Davide Rotolo lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. Davide takes the back of Mike King who works for a kimura. Davide pulls his arm out of the hold and push Mike King away. "W IS THE" hits an uppercut to the head of Davide Rotolo followed by a hard hook. Mike King connects with a jab cross combination. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Davide attempts a takedown, but Mike King clumsily falls down without much provocation. Davide Rotolo drops a huge strike to Mikes chin, landing into his guard. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. "W IS THE" works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. "W IS THE" takes Rotolos back standing. Davide Rotolo isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but "W IS THE" lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Davide Rotolo to release. A welt begins to form under Davide Rotolos eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Mike. Rotolo takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Davide hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. "W IS THE" takes Davide down to the mat with a good double leg takedown, leading to him standing over Davide. Mike King drops a huge strike to Davides chin, landing into his guard. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 "W IS THE" connects with a series of punches forcing Davide into a clinch. King takes Rotolos back standing. King lands a couple of uppercuts from behind. Davide Rotolo is able to work his way back around. A strong elbow forces King to lose his balance and fall to the floor. Davide stands over Mike, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Mike is able to grab an arm and pull Davide into his guard. Mike begins to work the rubber guard. Rotolo attempts to set in a hammer lock from being caught in the guard. "W IS THE" slips out of it at the last moment. King starts to lock a triangle. Davide Rotolo postures up and starts to stand up. King lands a stiff upkick, slumping Davide Rotolo back into his guard. A kimura attempt is defended well by Davide Rotolo and he is able to sneak his leg through Mikes loose guard, to half guard. Round 3 comes to a close.
