Round 1 Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. "JJ" throws a push kick. Murphy shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into "JJs" nose.
"JJ" executes a single leg giving him the back of Murphy. Hiroaki lands a series of heavy punches forcing Murphy to roll to his back, giving Hiroaki mount. Daniel Murphy attempts to escape mount but has no luck. Komatsu postures up and begins to fire off rapid shots from mount but Murphy tripods up and sweeps him over to his back. Murphy quickly gets himself to mount. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Komatsu tries to hyperextend the knee of Daniel with a kick to the kneecap. Daniel hops back to avoid it. Murphy throws a cross that easily dodged by Komatsu. Murphy attempts a lazy shot, which Hiroaki Komatsu sprawls, eventually taking Murphy back. Daniel Murphy tries to explode out the backdoor but Komatsu sinks in both hooks, continually landing outside strikes. Daniel Murphy falls flat to protect himself. Daniel Murphy starts to wiggle out of back control, Komatsu lets him escape putting them both on their feet. A wild hook from Daniel Murphy is ducked by Komatsu who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. "JJ" stuffs a shot from Daniel and strikes two solid knees to his skull. Daniel is stunned and "JJ" takes mount with in a quick scramble. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Daniel Murphy throws a hard jab but Komatsu throws a cross right over the top that knocks Daniel Murphy to the ground. "JJ" stands over Murphy, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Murphy is able to grab an arm and pull "JJ" into his guard. A right hand from Daniel Murphy while in guard angers "JJ" who returns the favor with a powerful right hand. Hiroaki distracts Daniel with peppering shots. Hiroaki then isolates a leg and sinks a achilles lock. Daniel is able to force his way out but gives up mount in the ensuing scramble. Komatsu lands a double punch to the head of Murphy. Murphy gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Hiroaki lands a series of heavy punches forcing Murphy to roll to his back, giving Hiroaki mount. Hiroaki Komatsu maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. The bell signals the end of round 3.
