Round 1 A sloppy scooping ankle block is pulled of by Yura. Choe is able to pull him into his guard. Choe connects with some unorthodox punches from the bottom position. An attempt to pull a switch is blocked by Izmaylov but both fighters end up on their side. Both fighters scramble to a stand up. Jeong Choe throws a cross that easily dodged by Izmaylov. Choe connects with a strong body shot combo. Choe catches a kick from Yura and drops down for a leg lock. Yura attempts to spin out of it but the lock is still tight. Choe moves to a heel hook. Yura fights through the attempt and moves to side control. Yura wraps the arm of Choe behind his back and traps it. Yura pounds away with shots to the face. Izmaylov slides his knee across the body of Choe and takes full mount. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Choe attempts a takedown, but cannot finish it. Izmaylov takes advantage of the moment taking side control. Choe takes a few knees to the body while under Yura Izmaylovs side control. Izmaylov moves to north-south position. Choe begins to roll out from under Izmaylov but Izmaylov is able scramble to Jeong Choes back. Jeong Choe is able to make it back to the standing position. Choe is hit with a jab and taken down with a strong trip takedown. Izmaylov is able to push to half guard. Izmaylov is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Jeong Choe gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Jeong Choe starts to wiggle out of back control, Izmaylov lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Choe throws a few jabs at Yura Izmaylov that miss the mark. Yura Izmaylov locks around the waist of Jeong. He sneaks his foot behind Jeong Choes and trips him to the floor, taking side control. Yura drops some good elbows to the face of Jeong Choe forcing him to give up his back. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 Yura connects with numerous jabs to the face of Choe. Izmaylov hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Choe. Choe ducks under a loopy hoop, taking Izmaylov to the mat, and his back. Jeong Choe begins to look for a rear naked choke, but Yura Izmaylov rolls to being mounted instead. Jeong Choe maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Jeong swings his leg over locking in a textbook armbar. Yura taps out.
