Round 1 Michio loses his balance from a well timed strike, and is awkwardly taken down by Yura Nekrasov for the mistake. Yura Nekrasov has side control. Nekrasov slides his knee across the body of Michio and takes full mount. Yura executes a double hand slap to the ears of Michio. Nekrasov telegraphs his motions for an armbar, but Uesugi gives up his back to stop the attempt. Michio Uesugi carefully protects himself from Yuras strikes. Nekrasov sinks a deep rear naked choke, but Michio just barely rolls to his back in time. Nekrasov now has full mount. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 Yura tries to hyperextend the knee of Uesugi with a kick to the kneecap. Uesugi hops back to avoid it. Uesugi connects with jab cross combination. Yura connects with jab cross combination. Uesugi keeps Nekrasov at a distance with some well timed jabs. Yura takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. A shot from Yura is countered by a guillotine from Michio Uesugi. Yura follows through with a slam, landing in side mount, nullifying the choke. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 Michio connects with numerous jabs to the face of Yura Nekrasov. Michio Uesugi narrowly dodges a cross from Nekrasov, but falls catching him in his guard. Michio Uesugi attempts an armbar from the bottom, but Yura Nekrasov slips out at the last moment. Yura Nekrasov presses the action while in the guard, but Michio is able to switch him into mount. Michio punishes Yura with a series of strikes from the mount. Michio Uesugi secures his position. Round 3 comes to a close.
