After winning his first title, Julius was given the name "Sithon." Sithon, a Thracian king over Odomanti, was an individual fighter of great renown. He was most known for refusing to marry his daughter, Pallene. He refused her hand in marriage except to the one who could defeat him in hand to hand combat. Despite killing all suitors, because of Pallene's beauty, there were many attempts at her hand. Kings Merops and Periphetes are among the ones Sithon killed to keep his daughter unwed.
