Apr 2174: All in all, a great fighter with an excellent career, who would have go a lot further if it wasn't for the Academy's conditions at one point, that made him stop fighting for 3 years. We won't make the same mistake with Roy that we did with Rick Williams, so he gets directly into our HALL OF FAME! Congrats!

Apr 2174: At the age of 37, Roy Gray retired. He ended with a p4p rank of #83, getting him on our top 5 fighters ever. He managed to build a record of 28-13, althought his best was 17-3! He had a steel chin and never got ko'ed. Memorable fights: title fights won against Frankie Parent and Petrov Tetriakov. He was our 1st fighter in Addiction, and a Shaato Emperor, with 4 titles (9 titles in his whole career).

Aug 2173: Three years after winning his 1st A-1 title, Roy Gray does it again. He made a superb fight against 4 time A-1 champion Rokuro Kitano, an amazing kickboxer from mythical MMA Camp UWF. The fight ended in Rd. 3 after an excellent armbar performed by Gray. With this win, and although his in the end of his career, Gray signs a 6 fight contract with Strikefest.

Jul 2170: Almost 3 years after his last fight, Roy Gray returned to the MMA world and debuted in A-1. The title fight against Arthur Bennet turned out to be a great return of Roy to the competition, with a belt around his waist.

Jul 2166: Our domination of UFL and, more recently, ProXC, made some orgs of the same Tier to makes approaches to our fighters, offering them better contracts. A signing protocol was also estabilished beetwen Trigo Top Team and Addicition and Socat fight. The first fighter fo sign a contract with Addiction is Roy Gray, one of our best actual fighter. He decided to move to Addiction after losing his LEAP belt to Petrov Tretyakov.

Apr 2166: Amazing win! Roy Gray was challenged by Sambo Master and former Shaato Champion Petrov Tretyakov and accepted it. The fight went all the way to the end, but Roy managed to get the upper hand all the time, making him a 2 time LEAP champion, with an impressive record of 17-3.

Mar 2166: Wowww what a win!!! Roy Gray got a shot at LEAP's HW title. The champion in title was Frankie "The Convict" Parent, from well known camp Avirex Fight Club. Parent is nothing less than 4 time former GAMMA and a 5 time former LEAP champion. A huge vet ground and pounder, whos p4p rank is #54! Gray was bold and constantly tried to take the upper hand in the fight, eventually winning in Rd.3, by way of submission, with a rear naked choke. Incredible.

Jul 2165: Roy is unstoppable! Royler Araujo, a bjj fighter and former WC champion gave a hell of a fight, but, once again, the judges had no doubt to atribute the victory for the still Shaato HW champion Roy Gray!

Apr 2165: Roy Gray does it again! This time the contender, Homer Stevens, wasn't ready to just give the fight to Roy, so both made a great battle that was only by Roy when the judges decided that way. Ray is now a 3 time Shaato HW Champion.

Jan 2165: In his 2nd Shaato fight, and after losing a title fight to iCe MMA Academy Isao Kate, Roy accepted another fight for the vacant belt, this time against Candido Fontana, from Chute Boxe Coritiba. The fight went to decision, but Roy had the happiness to win his first Shaato title. It was the Academy's first Shaato title as well. Despite his limited skills and without being a powerful fighter, Roy Gray is making an excellent career so far.

Nov 2164: Roy Gray wins his 1st title. This was the Academy's first RR HW title as well. He defeated Masaaki Motoori with no problems, in Rd. 1, via a rear naked choke. Roy proves that an MMA career can start with the wrong foot, as he started with a loss, but he already counts with 6 wins in a row after that, the last one with a title. He was offered a contract with Shaato, so he dropped RR belt and is moving on.
