Who: 4 or 8 Teams. Each team will be comprised of two camps. These two camps must be owned by different players.
What: A team competition in which each team enters a fighter in each weight class. Winner of best 3 out of 5 advances.
When: Soon!
Where: A-1 Legends
Why:
The reason I want to do a tag team competition is, first of all, it’s FUN in the same way TEF is fun. There are teams, and you can argue about styles and strategy on IRC. I think team play is a fun element missing from MMArmy so I try to add it in whenever I can.
Secondly, I think a problem with the single camp team competitions was that people rarely had fighters in all the weight classes to make it work. I know I always wanted to join, but with my camp of MWs and below I didn’t have the fighters to fit the criteria. If we combine two camps, though, they should have enough fighters between them to fill all the weight classes.
To enter the Tag Team Competition just write the name of the two camps being used in the competition. Keep in mind, though, all the fighters involved must be able to fight in A-1. Good luck!
