Round 1 Wes shoots a takedown from a distance putting Victors on the ground. Marc Victors connects with several chop shots from the bottom. Nelson sits up in Marcs open guard and spins to an leg lock. Victors is able to gator-roll out of it and make it to standing. Nelson connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Nelson connects with a strong right hook. Victors loses his balance from a well timed strike, and is awkwardly taken down by "The Best" for the mistake. "The Best" has side control. Nelson attempts to mount, but gets a few punches from Marc for his troubles. "The Best" lands a few stiff elbows from side control. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 Marc lands a hook to the body then a straight cross to the sternum. Victors keeps "The Best" at a distance with some well timed jabs. Marc blocks a hook cross combo but is pushed backward. "The Best" tries to press the action but is met with a jab-cross then an uppercut that puts him to on the floor. Victors kicks at the legs of Wes and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Wes to stand. Wes Nelson throws a hard jab but Marc throws a cross right over the top that knocks Wes Nelson to the ground. Marc lays into "The Bests" thighs with some well timed kicks while "The Best" is grounded. Victors kicks at the legs of Nelson and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Nelson to stand. Wes connects with a jab cross combination. Marc Victors hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Wes Nelson. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Nelson hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Marc feints and follows up with a hard cross. "The Best" stalks forward paws away with a couple jabs missing the mark. Marc connects with a hard body kick to the liver shutting down Wes Nelson who crumbles to the ground.
