Round 1 "Spitfire" connects with a series of punches forcing Ancil Deforest into a clinch. Stephens works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Buster takes Ancil Deforests back standing. Deforest isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but Buster lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Deforest to release. Buster throws a combination of punches ducking and feinting return shots. Buster smiling with his hands down as he shuffles in and out. Ancil Deforest continually moves away from Buster, who stalks him patiently, occasionally landing a jab or cross. "The King of Splits" parries a jab but is caught by a sweeping leg kick that sends him to the floor. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Stephens looks to press the action with a flurry of punches but "The King of Splits" lands a strong lead-leg kick and circles away. Buster locks in a tight muay thai clinch and lands several knees to the ribs of Ancil. "Spitfire" drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Ancil Deforest sets a guillotine choke but "Spitfire" slips out at the last moment. "Spitfire" is now caught in guard. Ancil attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. "Spitfire" drops his hands and motions for Deforest to try and hit him. Buster circles Deforest rudely mocking him with insults. Ancil Deforest lands a strong outside leg kick that buckles Buster. Ancil Deforest then switch kicks Buster on the opposing rib. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 "Spitfire" throws a crisp jab, but Ancil Deforest slips it and moves in for the clinch. Deforest works to Buster Stephenss back while standing. Deforest throws a couple of outside shots until "Spitfire" is able to work his way back to the clinch. Buster takes the back of Ancil who works for a kimura. Buster pulls his arm out of the hold and push Ancil away. Stephens dodges a jab and lands a kick to the face of Ancil. Ancil Deforest throws a teep backing Buster off. Buster ducks and weaves through a jab-cross combo but is hit with a nasty uppercut. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 4 Deforest shuffles away from "Spitfires" strikes and lands a powerful chopping kick to the lead leg. Stephens backs away, obviously feeling the affects of the kick. Ancil blocks a tight hook from Buster and counters with a shovel punch and cross that has Buster stumbling backwards. Ancil stalks him across the canvas. "Spitfire" lands a strong outside leg kick but is hit with a heavy counter hook. "Spitfire" connects with a hard jab as Ancil attempts a wide outside hook. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Stephens is met with a strong kick to the ribs. Stephens weaves through a jab-cross combo from Ancil but is met with a powerful uppercut that knocks him to the floor. The bell signals the end of round 4.
Round 5 Ancil Deforest connects with a strong right hook. Deforest blocks a tight hook from Buster Stephens and counters with a shovel punch and cross that has Buster Stephens stumbling backwards. Deforest stalks him across the canvas. Buster Stephens attempts to clinch, but Ancil connects with an uppercut to the jaw. Ancil lands a double jab. Stephens lands a strong outside leg kick that is returned by Deforest. "The King of Splits" connects with 1-2 jab hook combo and quickly steps away. "Spitfire" hunts down his opponent and throws 2 heavy haymakers that get nothing but air. "The King of Splits" connects with jab cross combination. Round 5 comes to a close.
