Round 1
Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. Tiago lands a strong outside leg kick that is returned by "King of the Splits". Gonzalez is hit with a jab then a hook to the body and stumbles backward. Kyle tries to press the action but is met with a push kick from Gonzalez that puts him on the floor. Tiago Gonzalez lays into Kyles thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. "King of the Splits" does so. Kyle attempts a jab but is countered by a hard left leg kick to the knee and is instantly followed by a picture perfect right hand from Gonzalez that knocks him to the ground. A solid kick bruises the leg of Conroy. Gonzalez hovers over "King of the Splits" pushing his legs to the side and throwing punches down at his body and head. Gonzalez waves for "King of the Splits" to stand up. Conroy connects with a jab cross combination. Kyle Conroy parries a jab but is hit with a powerful knee to the midsection. The bell signals the end of round 1.

Round 2
The fighters circle each other. Conroy winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Kyle Conroy attempts a jab but is countered by a hard right leg kick to the knee and is instantly followed by an upward elbow strike that rocks him. Tiago locks in a tight muay thai clinch and lands several knees to the ribs of Kyle Conroy. Gonzalez places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. A strong elbow forces "King of the Splits" to lose his balance and fall to the floor. Gonzalez kicks at the thighs of Kyle. Round 2 is finished.

Round 3
"King of the Splits" attempts a jab but is countered by a hard right leg kick to the knee. Tiago Gonzalez connects with a strong body shot combo. Kyle Conroy attempts a striking combination, but Tiago forces the clinch. Gonzalez takes the back of "King of the Splits" who works for a kimura. Gonzalez pulls his arm out of the hold and push "King of the Splits" away. Tiago Gonzalez connects with a right that puts Kyle Conroy off balance tumbling to the mat, as Tiago Gonzalez towers over him. Tiago Gonzalez kicks at the legs of Kyle Conroy and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Kyle Conroy to stand. The bell signals the end of round 3.

Round 4
Kyle Conroy is hit with a hook and a shovel punch and stumbles backward. "Thailand" explodes forward with a push kick that puts Kyle Conroy on the canvas. Tiago Gonzalez lays into Kyles thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Kyle Conroy does so. Kyle throws a hard jab but Tiago throws a cross right over the top that knocks Kyle to the ground. Tiago Gonzalez kicks at the legs of Conroy and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Conroy to stand. Kyle attempts a striking combination, but Tiago forces the clinch. "Thailand" works Kyle into the cage from the clinch. "Thailand" presses his head under Kyles chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Kyle attempts a knee but is taken down by a basic trip. Gonzalez lands in half guard. "Thailand" drops an elbow onto the forehead of Kyle Conroy. Gonzalez opens a cut over the eye of Kyle. The doctor takes a look at it, and says he's okay to continue. Round 4 is finished.

Round 5
"King of the Splits" hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. Tiago presses forward, grabbing the plum and lands a strong hook, buckling "King of the Splits" to the mat. Tiago follows him into the guard. Gonzalez drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Gonzalez pushes down Kyle Conroys leg, allowing him to pass guard into half guard. Gonzalez tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. Tiago Gonzalez slips out of half guard and into side control. Kyle Conroy gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Conroy starts to wiggle out of back control, Tiago lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Both fighters move in to strike but miss their marks. As they jockey for position in the clinch Conroy wins the momentum battle and falls into side control on top of Tiago Gonzalez. The round comes to an end.
