Round 1 Ali Habibi keeps "The Pacifist " at a distance with some well timed jabs. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Habibi lands a powerful knee to the face of Vasilescu. Doru Vasilescu lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. Ali Habibi grinds his forearm into the face of Doru while holding him into the cage. A strong elbow forces Habibi to lose his balance and fall to the floor. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Ali Habibi tries to hyperextend the knee of Doru Vasilescu with a kick to the kneecap. Doru Vasilescu hops back to avoid it. Ali Habibi throws a few jabs at Doru that miss the mark. Vasilescu attempts to grab the plum but is kept off balance by Alis strikes. Doru Vasilescu tries to break away from the clinch to no avail. Ali has him on lockdown, peppering him with stiff shots. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Ali throws a few strikes allowing him to clinch with his opponent. An attempt at a clinch takedown from Ali is defended well by "The Pacifist ". Ali grabs an overhook, steps to the side to land two haymaker body shots, then an uppercut. Ali returns to the clinch. Ali breaks away from the clinch while delivering a knee. Doru Vasilescu takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Vasilescu eats a strong cross as Habibi moves into the clinch. Doru places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Ali lands some solid knees to the legs of Doru from the clinch. Ali ducks under Vasilescu pulling him to the floor and taking his back. The bell signals the end of round 3.
Round 4 Vasilescu takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Ali Habibi takes a punch and goes to the mat, Doru pounces into side control. Ali Habibi recovers quickly. "The Pacifist " lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Ali gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Ali carefully protects himself from Doru Vasilescus strikes. Doru works his arm around the neck of Ali attempting to get a tight rear naked choke but Ali hand fights well. Ali spins through into the guard of Doru. The bell signals the end of round 4.
Round 5 Ali Habibi narrowly dodges a cross from "The Pacifist ", but falls catching him in his guard. Doru pulls out of the guard of Ali, stands up, feels it out, and drops a huge right hand to the jaw of Ali. Doru forces Habibis leg down, giving him the chance to pass into side control. Doru wraps the arm of Ali behind his back and traps it. Doru pounds away with shots to the face. Doru Vasilescu slides his knee across the body of Habibi and takes full mount. Doru punishes Ali Habibi with a series of strikes from the mount. Vasilescu is pulled in tight, and then switched over on his back. Ali is now caught in Dorus guard.Round 5 comes to a close.
