Round 1 Stevens lands a left hook, only to follow up with a strong kick to the ribs. Vincent Stevens is staggered by a jab to the chin. Stevens connects with a hard punch making Sarki Maluma bring him in to a tight clinch. Maluma takes the back of Stevens who works for a kimura. Maluma pulls his arm out of the hold and push Stevens away. A trip to the ground allows Sarki to move into the guard of Vincent Stevens. Vincent Stevens backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. Maluma presses forward and is able to jump up and grab onto Vincent, aggressively pulling guard. Maluma powers out sweeping Stevens with pure strength. Maluma is now in side control. Vincent Stevens takes a few knees to the body while under Sarki Malumas side control. Sarki Maluma drops some good elbows to the face of Vincent Stevens forcing him to give up his back. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 A wild hook from Sarki Maluma is ducked by Stevens who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. The fighters circle each other. Stevens throws a cross that easily dodged by Sarki Maluma. Maluma presses forward and is able to jump up and grab onto Vincent Stevens, aggressively pulling guard. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 Vincent is hit with two hard punches to his face. Vincent laughs off the punches. Sarki Maluma narrowly dodges a cross from Stevens, but falls catching him in his guard. Sarki Maluma sinks a deep kimura, but Stevens slides out. This gives Sarki Maluma the chance to switch to half guard. Maluma attempt to sit up and push into his opponent but Vincent Stevens has a strong underhook and pushes back. Maluma uses the momentum to sweep Vincent Stevens into side control. Vincent Stevens sweeps over Sarki and quickly obtains mount position. Stevens is pulled in tight, and then switched over on his back. Sarki Maluma is now caught in Vincents guard. An heel strike attempt is dodged by Sarki and he traps Vincents extended leg to move to half guard. Sarki is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Vincent Stevens bucks off Maluma and both fighters get to their feet. Vincent Stevens throws a wild punch, putting him off balance. A few well timed strikes from Maluma puts Vincent Stevens on the mat giving his back up. Round 3 is over.
Round 4 Vincent winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Sarki Maluma connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Vincent. Vincent throws a cross that easily dodged by Sarki Maluma. Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. The bell signals the end of round 4.
Round 5 Stevens swaying back and forth with Balanco fires the back leg up and over with a hooking Gancho kick to the side of the head of Maluma. A wild hook from Vincent Stevens is ducked by Sarki who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. Stevens connects with a jab cross combination. Vincent swaying back and forth with Balanco stops and throws a reverse head kick decoy followed by a Martelo em Pe to the head with the opposite leg rocking Sarki and backing him up. The round comes to an end.
