Round 1 Everett catches a leg kick and fires a hard punch to the head dropping Candido. Francis drops a huge strike to Peras chin, landing into his guard. While in his opponents guard Everett Francis powers himself and Candido Pera up in the air and slams him down to the canvas. Francis drops a few strong punches, opening up Peras guard, giving him a chance to pass to mount. Everett secures his position. Pera gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Giving up his back, Candido panics and gives up mount instead. Everett punishes Candido with a series of strikes from the mount. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Everett throws a powerful left hook, but is met with a strong jab from Candido Pera. Francis hoists up Candido in the air for a slam but Candido makes himself too heavy and gets his feet back to the ground. Candido Pera counters a jab with a stiff uppercut. Candido circles Everett, landing jabs and crosses at will. Everett Francis takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Francis is caught square on the jaw putting him to the canvas, Candido prepares to pounce, but Francis gets his bearings just in time. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 A trip to the ground allows Everett to move into the guard of Candido. Candido Pera keeps his head down in the chest of Everett to avoid any submission attempts. Candido Pera leans up and lands some short punches before lowering back down. Everett takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Candido Peras guard. It doesn't pay off as Candido Pera makes his way to standing. Candido throws a push kick. Everett shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Candidos nose.
Pera connects with a strong right hook. Francis locks around the waist of Pera. He sneaks his foot behind Candidos and trips him to the floor, taking side control. Candido almost switches side control around, but falls short at the last moment. Francis slides his knee across the body of Pera and takes full mount. Round 3 is over.
Round 4 Candido dodges a series of strikes from Francis and counters with a body shot and cross. Candido then backs up and wags a finger at Francis. Candido gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. Candido Pera carefully protects himself from Everett Franciss strikes. Pera is able to make it back to the standing position. Pera connects with a jab cross combination. Candido Pera parries Franciss jab and connect with a cross. Candido Pera sends Everett to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. The round comes to an end.
Round 5 Candido slips a cross from Everett Francis and lands an uppercut to the liver. Candido Pera loses his balance from a well timed strike, and is awkwardly taken down by Everett for the mistake. Everett has side control. Everett wraps the arm of Candido behind his back and traps it. Everett pounds away with shots to the face. Everett Francis delivers knees to the body and sharp forearms to the head forcing Candido Pera to turn over. Everett Francis takes the back. Everett works his arm around the neck of Candido Pera attempting to get a tight rear naked choke but Candido Pera hand fights well. Francis peppers Candido with several shots to the face. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
