Round 1 Martin is hit with two hard punches to his face. Martin laughs off the punches. Martin shoots but Mac stuffs it, eventually using a whizzer to work to side control. Sanders wraps the arm of Clyde behind his back and traps it. Sanders pounds away with shots to the face. Clyde Martin gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Clyde carefully protects himself from Sanderss strikes. Mac lands a series of heavy punches forcing Clyde Martin to roll to his back, giving Mac mount. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 "The Jidmeister" hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Mac. Mac Sanders connects with a jab cross combination. Mac Sanders connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. "The Jidmeister" throws a few jabs at Mac Sanders that miss the mark. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Mac throws a kick to the midsection that is caught by Clyde Martin. Clyde Martin lands a sweeping leg kick that puts Mac on his back. "The Jidmeister" grabs a foot and kicks at Sanderss thighs. He then backs off and Mac stands back up. A looping right hook from Clyde sends "FistKing" to the mat. Martin cannot find an opening to pounce. The ref brings Mac back to his feet. Mac fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with "The Jidmeister". Clyde Martin throws a short elbow at Mac Sanders. Sanders attempts a knee but is taken down by a basic trip. Clyde Martin lands in half guard. Clyde Martin opens a cut over the eye of Sanders. The doctor takes a look at it, and says he's okay to continue. Sanders tries to scramble out of half guard, but Martin takes his back during it. Round 3 comes to a close.
Round 4 Both fighters begin to exchange Clyde catches Sanders with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Sanders gather himself. Sanders says he is ok and the fight continues. Clyde Martin locks in a tight muay thai clinch and lands several knees to the ribs of Sanders. "FistKing" drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. "The Jidmeister" sets a guillotine choke but "FistKing" slips out at the last moment. "FistKing" is now caught in guard. Sanders takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Clyde Martins guard. It doesn't pay off as Clyde Martin makes his way to standing. A trip to the ground allows Martin to move into the guard of Mac Sanders. Clyde Martin tries to pass guard but Sanders stops him with a well timed punch. Martin pulls out of the guard of Mac, stands up, feels it out, and drops a huge right hand to the jaw of Mac. Clyde attempts to strike with a double-axe handle but "FistKing" is able to switch him to mount. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 5 The fighters circle each other. A double-leg shot is stuffed initially by Martin, but Sanders is able to muscle through for a takedown. Clyde attempts an armbar. Mac Sanders time a spin perfectly landing a strong overhand as he works his way into Clyde Martins guard. "FistKing" defends a triangle attempt, throwing Clydes straight leg over his head and makes a move for side control. Martin is able to hold him to half guard. Mac Sanders attempts to sink a neck crank from half guard. It does not appear to be tight enough as Clyde Martin gives a thumbs up to the referee until he finally struggles out. Mac slips out of half guard and into side control. Clyde gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Clyde Martin starts to wiggle out of back control, Mac Sanders lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Mac takes a punch and goes to the mat, Clyde Martin pounces into side control. Mac recovers quickly. Round 5 is finished.
