Round 1 The fighters circle each other. Aldrich takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Rusty Kelly circles Aldrich, mixing jabs with body shots. The fighters circle each other. Aldrich snaps back the head of Rusty Kelly with a stiff jab. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Aldrich is hit with a jab-cross and then brutally shoved to the ground. Kelly falls into his guard, delivering a strong punch as he does so. Firmin is hit with a series of powerful punches while utilizing the guard. Firmin attempts a few a shots from the guard, but gets mounted for his troubles. Aldrich gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Aldrich Firmin tries to explode out the backdoor but Rusty sinks in both hooks, continually landing outside strikes. Aldrich Firmin falls flat to protect himself. Firmin starts to wiggle out of back control, Rusty Kelly lets him escape putting them both on their feet. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Aldrich takes Rusty Kellys back standing. Kelly isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but Aldrich lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Kelly to release. Aldrich throws a hard jab but Rusty Kelly throws a cross right over the top that knocks Aldrich to the ground. Rusty stands over Aldrich, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Aldrich cannot trap him in his guard and pushes him away instead. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 Firmin throws a push kick. Kelly shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Firmins nose.
After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Firmin works Rusty into the cage from the clinch. Firmin presses his head under Kellys chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Rusty receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Aldrich. Aldrich Firmin takes the back of Rusty Kelly who works for a kimura. Aldrich Firmin pulls his arm out of the hold and push Rusty Kelly away. Kelly hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Aldrich Firmin. The round comes to an end.
Round 4 Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Aldrich connects with a hard punch making Kelly bring him in to a tight clinch. An attempt at a clinch takedown from Rusty Kelly is defended well by Aldrich Firmin. Rusty Kelly grabs an overhook, steps to the side to land two haymaker body shots, then an uppercut. Rusty Kelly returns to the clinch. Kelly works Firmin into the cage from the clinch. Kelly presses his head under Aldrichs chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Aldrich recieves a strong elbow opening up the clinch. Aldrich Firmin is hit with a hook and a shovel punch and stumbles backward. Rusty Kelly explodes forward with a superman punch that drops Aldrich Firmin to the canvas. Round 4 is over.
Round 5 Aldrich Firmin snaps back the head of Rusty with a stiff jab. Kelly circles Aldrich, landing jabs at will. Aldrich is staggered by a jab to the chin. Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. Round 5 is over.
