Round 1 Damian Hubbard attempts to press in on Julien but is met with powerful inside-leg kicks. Julien Abel misses with an axe kick that has Hubbard back up. Hubbard throws a push kick. Julien shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Damians nose.

Round 2 Hubbard connects with a hard punch making Abel bring him in to a tight clinch. Hubbard lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. Julien Abel attempts a takedown but is out leveraged and taken down himself. Damian now is in dominant side mount. Abel tries to get back to full guard, but has to settle with half guard. Abel lands some stiff elbows from the ground, but Damian is able to take full mount. Hubbard maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Abel places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Julien escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Damian parries a jab but is caught by a strong leg kick. Damian ducks and weaves through a quick combo from Julien Abel and knocks him back with a shovel punch to the jaw. Abel connects with a right that puts Hubbard off balance tumbling to the mat, as Abel towers over him. A solid kick bruises the leg of Hubbard. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 4 Hubbard connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Abel. A shot catches Julien Abel off balance and off guard. Damian Hubbard spears him but can only manage to make it to guard. Julien dodges some ground strikes from Damian Hubbard, and sends a few back of his own. Julien Abel works for a triangle but Damian Hubbard throws Abels straight leg over his head and makes it to half guard. Damian opens a cut over the eye of Julien. Damian tries to press the action but is met with a push kick from Julien that puts him on the floor. Abel lays into Damians thighs with some well timed kicks while Damian Hubbard is grounded.
