Round 1 Sam is staggered by a jab to the chin. Thomas presses forward and is able to jump up and grab onto Sam, aggressively pulling guard. Booker gives up guard avoiding a powerful hammer fist. He now has half guard. Thomas snatches a kimura lock and sweeps Sam over to side control. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Thomas snaps back the head of Sam Allen with a stiff jab. Sam hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. Sam Allen connects with a hard punch making Booker bring him in to a tight clinch. Sam attempts a takedown from the clinch, but Thomas pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. A sloppy scooping ankle block is pulled of by "T". Allen is able to pull him into his guard. "T" sits up in Sam Allens open guard and spins to an leg lock. Allen is able to gator-roll out of it and make it to standing. A trip to the ground allows Sam Allen to move into the guard of Booker Thomas. Booker powers out sweeping Sam Allen with pure strength. Booker is now in side control. Booker throws his knee into the ribs of Allen. Sam sneaks a leg back under the body of Booker to achieve a defensive half guard. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 "Always a Bridesmaid" catches a leg kick from Booker, and puts him on the mat. Thomas begins to posture on his side. Sam Allen lands a couple of outside hooks and Thomas returns to the guard. Thomas backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. Both fighters begin to exchange Booker Thomas catches Sam Allen with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Sam Allen gather himself. Sam Allen says he is ok and the fight continues. Sam Allen takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Allen locks around the waist of Booker. He sneaks his foot behind Booker Thomass and trips him to the floor, taking side control. Sam drops some hammer fists on "T". "Always a Bridesmaid" slides his knee across the body of Thomas and takes full mount. The bell signals the end of round 3.
Round 4 "Always a Bridesmaid" winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Booker Thomas stuffs a takedown but is backed into a corner and must slide into guard to avoid being picked up. Booker Thomas gives up guard avoiding a powerful hammer fist. He now has half guard. Thomas tries to scramble out of half guard, but Sam takes his back during it.Round 4 comes to a close.
Round 5 "T" tries to hyperextend the knee of "Always a Bridesmaid" with a kick to the kneecap. "Always a Bridesmaid" hops back to avoid it. Sam throws a cross that easily dodged by Booker. Thomas throws a wild punch, putting him off balance. A few well timed strikes from Sam Allen puts Thomas on the mat giving his back up. Giving up his back, "T" panics and gives up mount instead. Allen punishes "T" with a series of strikes from the mount. Booker bucks off Allen and both fighters get to their feet. Round 5 is finished.
