Round 1
Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. Hiroaki connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Randall hits an uppercut to the head of "Straight Outta" followed by a hard hook. Randall Erickson connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of "Straight Outta". Randall circles Ashia, landing jabs and crosses at will. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.

Round 2
Both fighters begin to exchange Ashia catches Randall Erickson with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Randall Erickson gather himself. Randall Erickson says he is ok and the fight continues. Hiroaki fakes an overhand and is able to take down Erickson with a double ankle pick. Randall is hit with a series of powerful punches while utilizing the guard. Randall sinks a deep kimura, but Hiroaki slides out. This gives Randall the chance to switch to half guard. Round 2 comes to a close.

Round 3
After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Hiroaki works to Randall Ericksons back while standing. Hiroaki throws a couple of outside shots until "Senor Rowdy Randy" is able to work his way back to the clinch. "Senor Rowdy Randy" escapes the clinch and creates some distance. "Straight Outta" connects with a strong right hook. A wild hook from Erickson is ducked by "Straight Outta" who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. "Straight Outta" connects with numerous jabs to the face of "Senor Rowdy Randy". Randall Erickson throws a hard jab but Hiroaki throws a cross right over the top that knocks Randall Erickson to the ground. Ashia stands over Randall Erickson, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Randall Erickson attempts an armbar but Ashia chucks him to a side and lands in side control. The round comes to an end.

Round 4
A shot is side stepped by Ashia but quick reflexes and footwork lead to a second attempt that takes down Ashia. "Senor Rowdy Randy" settles into his guard. Randall Erickson is working a furious pace inside of the guard of Hiroaki Ashia. Randall Erickson drops some elbows from guard, giving him a brief moment to switch over to side control. "Senor Rowdy Randy" lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Randall attempts an armbar, but Ashia stops the attempt. Randall uses the oppurtunity to take mount. Hiroaki Ashia attempts to escape mount but has no luck. Randall punishes Hiroaki with a series of strikes from the mount. Round 4 comes to a close.

Round 5
Randall Erickson is caught square on the jaw putting him to the canvas, Ashia prepares to pounce, but Randall Erickson gets his bearings just in time. Hiroaki drops a huge strike to Ericksons chin, landing into his guard. "Senor Rowdy Randy" shifts his hips to get better position in the guard. Hiroaki takes advantage of a mental laps from "Senor Rowdy Randy" and moves into full mount. Erickson attempts to buck Ashia off from mount but Ashia keeps his base and maintains position. Randall Erickson gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Hiroaki Ashia lands a series of heavy punches forcing Randall to roll to his back, giving Hiroaki Ashia mount. "Straight Outta" begins to lose position so switches back to side control. The bell signals the end of round 5.
