Round 1 A welt begins to form under Naldis eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Yoshito. Yoshito winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Naldi throws a wild punch, putting him off balance. A few well timed strikes from Yoshito puts Naldi on the mat giving his back up. Yoshito attempts to lock in a rear naked choke, but Cyril Naldi rolls into to mount to cleverly avoid it. Cyril attempts to escape mount but has no luck. Cyril pulls his leg out from under Ninomiya and gets back to half guard. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. Cyril Naldi shuffles away from Ninomiyas strikes and lands a powerful chopping kick to the lead leg. Yoshito backs away, obviously feeling the affects of the kick. Naldi parries Yoshitos jab and connect with a cross. Ninomiya is met with a strong kick to the ribs. Cyril Naldi shuffles away from Yoshito Ninomiyas strikes and lands a powerful chopping kick to the lead leg. Yoshito Ninomiya backs away, obviously feeling the affects of the kick. Round 3 Naldi lands a solid kick to the inside thigh of Yoshito. Naldi circles away from Ninomiya, landing strong kicks to the lead leg. Naldi connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Yoshito. Ninomiya parries a jab but is caught by a strong leg kick. Yoshito connects with a hard jab as Cyril Naldi attempts a wide outside hook. Round 3 is over.
Round 4 A lazy leg kick from Naldi is caught by Yoshito who lands a huge overhand right, flooring Naldi. Ninomiya attempts to drop a fist on Cyril Naldi, but misses and lands in his guard. Yoshito Ninomiya attempts to set in a hammer lock from being caught in the guard. Cyril slips out of it at the last moment. Naldi attempts a few a shots from the guard, but gets mounted for his troubles. Ninomiya maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Cyril Naldi gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Yoshito Ninomiya lands a series of heavy punches forcing Cyril to roll to his back, giving Yoshito Ninomiya mount. Naldi bucks off Yoshito and both fighters get to their feet. The bell signals the end of round 4.
Round 5 Cyril throws a push kick. Ninomiya shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Cyril Naldis nose.
Ninomiya narrowly dodges a cross from Cyril Naldi, but falls catching him in his guard. Yoshito Ninomiya grabs the arm of Naldi while in guard and holds tight eating shots to ribs. Cyril eats a stiff punch to the face, and is then switched, giving Yoshito full mount. Cyril shifts his head and hips to keep Ninomiya off balance and unable to land strikes. Yoshito Ninomiya secures his position. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
