Round 1 A lazy leg kick from "Fettuccine" is caught by Douglas who lands a huge overhand right, flooring "Fettuccine". Douglas drops a huge strike to Alfredos chin, landing into his guard. Alfredo Fraga begins to posture on his side. Bert Douglas lands a couple of outside hooks and Alfredo Fraga returns to the guard. Bert Douglas takes advantage of a mental laps from Alfredo and moves into full mount. Douglas punishes Alfredo with a series of strikes from the mount. Alfredo gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Bert Douglas lays into Alfredo Fraga with some strong shots forcing Alfredo Fraga to give up mount position. Alfredo bucks off Bert Douglas and both fighters get to their feet. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Bert is staggered by a jab to the chin. Bert throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. "Fettuccine" is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. "Fettuccine" connects with a strong body shot combo. The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Alfredo Fraga connects with a hard jab as Douglas attempts a wide outside hook. Fraga connects with a strong right hook.Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Douglas tries to hyperextend the knee of Alfredo Fraga with a kick to the kneecap. Alfredo Fraga hops back to avoid it. Bert Douglas connects with numerous jabs to the face of Alfredo. Bert hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. The fighters circle each other. Douglas is staggered by a jab to the chin. Bert Douglas connects with numerous jabs to the face of Alfredo. Bert Douglas throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. "Fettuccine" is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. Both fighters begin to exchange Douglas catches "Fettuccine" with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets "Fettuccine" gather himself. "Fettuccine" says he is ok and the fight continues. Bert Douglas throws a cross that easily dodged by Alfredo Fraga. Alfredo fires a haymaker but misses spinning himself around. Douglas quickly takes his back. Round 3 is over.
Round 4 Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. "Fettuccine" lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. Bert Douglas receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Alfredo Fraga. "Fettuccine" escapes the clinch and creates some distance. The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Bert Douglas winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. "Fettuccine" blocks a strong high kick from Douglas and counters with a devastating left hook. Douglas catches a kick from Alfredo and drops down for a leg lock. Alfredo attempts to spin out of it but the lock is still tight. Douglas moves to a kneebar. Alfredo fight through the pain and get to side control. The bell signals the end of round 4.
Round 5 Bert Douglas takes a punch while shooting but executes the takedown and ends up in Alfredo Fragas guard. Douglas drops a few strong punches, opening up Fragas guard, giving him a chance to pass to mount. Alfredo Fraga gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Alfredo Fraga starts to wiggle out of back control, Douglas lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Bert shoots a takedown from a distance putting Alfredo Fraga on the ground. Alfredo attempts to create some space from his guard, but Douglas sees the opening and passes to full mount. "Fettuccine" gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Douglas tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Bert Douglas begins to look for a rear naked choke, but Alfredo rolls to being mounted instead. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
