Round 1
After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Vicente Carrasquillo works Luapo into the cage from the clinch. Vicente Carrasquillo presses his head under Luapos chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Vicente Carrasquillo takes the back of Luapo Fualema who works for a kimura. Vicente Carrasquillo pulls his arm out of the hold and push Luapo Fualema away. The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. After dodging a jab-cross, Fualema lands a kick to the liver of "Buenos Noches" who steps back and begins to take a knee. Fualema rushes forward to capitalize but "Buenos Noches" stands back up and is met by a strong cross-uppercut that again backs him up. Vicente Carrasquillo throws a powerful left hook, but is met with a strong jab from Luapo. The bell signals the end of round 1.

Round 2
Vicente Carrasquillo takes down Fualema, but remains standing over him. Vicente stands over Luapo Fualema, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Luapo Fualema is able to grab an arm and pull Vicente into his guard. Carrasquillo attempts to set in a hammer lock from being caught in the guard. Luapo slips out of it at the last moment. Carrasquillo drops a few strong punches, opening up Luapos guard, giving him a chance to pass to mount. Luapo attempts to escape mount but has no luck. Luapo Fualema gives his back up trying to escape the mount. "Buenos Noches" lands a series of heavy punches forcing Luapo to roll to his back, giving "Buenos Noches" mount. Luapo attempts to escape mount but has no luck. Round 2 is finished.

Round 3
Vicente Carrasquillo parries Luapos jab and connect with a cross. Vicente Carrasquillo narrowly dodges a cross from Luapo, but falls catching him in his guard. Vicente begins to posture on his side. Luapo Fualema lands a couple of outside hooks and Vicente returns to the guard. Luapo Fualema keeps his head down in guard to gather energy. Carrasquillo uses the strength of his legs to sweep him over to his back. Carrasquillo now has full mount. Carrasquillo maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Luapo bucks Carrasquillo off and sweeps him over getting into his half guard. Round 3 comes to a close.

Round 4
Carrasquillo hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. Luapo Fualema is staggered by a jab to the chin. "Buenos Noches" dives in for a takedown but the momentum of the attempt ends in a scramble back to their feet. Vicente connects with jab cross combination. Luapo strikes with a straight front kick.Round 4 comes to a close.

Round 5
Luapo stuffs a shot from Vicente Carrasquillo and hits him with a hard hook to the temple and pushes him to take his guard. "Buenos Noches" tries to slide out of guard, but a scramble ensues. Luapo ends up mounted by "Buenos Noches".Round 5 comes to a close.
