Round 2 Drew Biek is staggered by a jab to the chin. Renaud moves in to press the action, but Drew lands a heavy back kick. Biek throws a wild punch, putting him off balance. A few well timed strikes from "Cookie Monster" puts Biek on the mat giving his back up. Richard Renaud tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Drew Biek starts to wiggle out of back control, Richard Renaud lets him escape putting them both on their feet. The fighters circle each other. Renaud parries Drew Bieks jab and connect with a cross. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 Richard Renaud fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Drew Biek. Richard receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Drew. Renaud escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Drew Biek is sent crashing to the mat by a powerful right hook. Richard Renaud drops a huge strike to Bieks chin, landing into his guard. "Cookie Monster" takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Drews guard. It doesn't pay off as Biek makes his way to standing. Richard Renaud stuffs a shot from Biek and hits him with a hard hook to the temple and pushes him to take his guard. "Cookie Monster" drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Drew Biek attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet.Round 3 comes to a close.
Round 4 Drew takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. "Cookie Monster" receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Biek. Drew works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Drew escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Richard moves in to press the action, but Drew Biek lands a heavy back kick. After dodging a jab-cross, Biek lands a kick to the liver of "Cookie Monster" who steps back and begins to take a knee. Biek rushes forward to capitalize but "Cookie Monster" stands back up and is met by a strong cross-uppercut that again backs him up. The fighters circle each other. Richard Renaud catches a leg kick from Biek, and puts him on the mat. The bell signals the end of round 4.
Round 5 Drew narrowly dodges a cross from "Cookie Monster", but falls catching him in his guard. Drew attempts to create some space from his guard, but "Cookie Monster" sees the opening and passes to full mount. Richard telegraphs his motions for an armbar, but Drew Biek gives up his back to stop the attempt. Drew starts to wiggle out of back control, Renaud lets him escape putting them both on their feet. A couple of powerful body shots forces Biek back to the corner. Richard swims to double underhooks. Biek cannot stop Richard from stepping back and taking him to the floor. Renaud drops a few strong punches, opening up Bieks guard, giving him a chance to pass to mount. Drew Biek gives his back up trying to escape the mount. "Cookie Monster" tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Renaud peppers Drew Biek with several shots to the face. Round 5 comes to a close.
