Round 1 Ramirez is sent crashing to the mat by a powerful right hook. Danny Reinhold stands over "Oso Rojo", works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. "Oso Rojo" is able to grab an arm and pull Danny Reinhold into his guard. Lalo Ramirez begins to posture on his side. Danny Reinhold lands a couple of outside hooks and Lalo Ramirez returns to the guard. Lalo Ramirez attempts a few a shots from the guard, but gets mounted for his troubles. Danny punishes Ramirez with a series of strikes from the mount. "Oso Rojo" gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Danny lays into Ramirez with some strong shots forcing Ramirez to give up mount position. Lalo Ramirez gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 The fighters circle each other. Ramirez throws a cross that easily dodged by Reinhold. "Oso Rojo" throws a push kick. Danny Reinhold shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Ramirezs nose.
Danny connects with a strong right hook. Ramirez takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Danny connects with a strong right hook. Lalo Ramirez is hit with a jab and then taken down with a strong trip takedown. Lalo is pummeled by some well timed bombs from Danny. Danny Reinhold distracts Lalo with some peppering shots. Danny Reinhold then isolates a leg and falls back into a achilles lock. Lalo is able to force his way out of it but gives up half guard in the ensuing scramble. Danny Reinhold tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. Danny Reinhold attempts to sink a neck crank from half guard. It does not appear to be tight enough as Lalo Ramirez gives a thumbs up to the referee until he finally struggles out. Ramirez tries to scramble out of half guard, but Danny Reinhold takes his back during it. Round 3 is finished.
Round 4 Lalo Ramirez is staggered by a jab to the chin. Danny Reinhold fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Ramirez. Danny drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. "Oso Rojo" sets a guillotine choke but Danny slips out at the last moment. Danny is now caught in guard. Lalo Ramirez backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. Reinhold narrowly dodges a cross from Ramirez, but falls catching him in his guard. Reinhold goes for a kimura from the bottom, but "Oso Rojo" slips out at the last second. Danny Reinhold is pummeled by some well timed bombs from Lalo Ramirez. While in the guard, Ramirez drops a long punch. Danny Reinhold throws the leg over and rolls it over into an armbar. Ramirez has no choice but to submit.
