The fighters circle each other. Serguei throws a cross that easily dodged by Heilyn Wild. Heilyn Wild snaps back the head of Serguei with a stiff jab. Serguei takes Wild down to the mat with a good double leg takedown, leading to him standing over Wild.Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Heilyn is hit with two hard punches to his face. Heilyn laughs off the punches. Rozhdestvensky executes a beautiful double leg takedown, putting Wild to the mat, and Rozhdestvensky into side control. Serguei lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Heilyn gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Serguei Rozhdestvensky tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Wild starts to wiggle out of back control, Serguei Rozhdestvensky lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Round 2 is finished.

Wild keeps Rozhdestvensky at a distance with some well timed jabs. Serguei Rozhdestvensky throws a push kick. Wild shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Serguei Rozhdestvenskys nose.
Serguei is hit with two hard punches to his face. Serguei laughs off the punches. Heilyn Wild fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Serguei. The bell signals the end of round 3.
Round 4 Heilyn fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Rozhdestvensky. Heilyn works Serguei into the cage from the clinch. Heilyn presses his head under Rozhdestvenskys chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Heilyn dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Serguei standing over him. Serguei attempts to drop a fist on Heilyn Wild, but misses and lands in his guard. Heilyn connects with several chop shots from the bottom. Serguei Rozhdestvensky tries to move to half guard but Heilyn Wild uses the opportunity to land several strikes and return to full guard. Heilyn Wild shifts his hips to get better position in the guard. Wild attempts a armbar from his guard, but Serguei postures up and leans back to avoid the submission. Wild is able to use the opportunity to switch him into mount. The round comes to an end.
Round 5 A lazy leg kick from Serguei Rozhdestvensky is caught by Heilyn who lands a huge overhand right, flooring Serguei Rozhdestvensky. Heilyn drops a huge strike to Sergueis chin, landing into his guard. Heilyn attempts to set in a hammer lock from being caught in the guard. Rozhdestvensky slips out of it at the last moment. Heilyn drops a few strong punches, opening up Sergueis guard, giving him a chance to pass to mount. Serguei attempts to escape mount but has no luck. Rozhdestvensky gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Heilyn Wild begins to look for a rear naked choke, but Serguei rolls to being mounted instead. Wild telegraphs his motions for an armbar, but Rozhdestvensky gives up his back to stop the attempt.Round 5 comes to a close.
