Round 1 Dias stuffs a takedown but is backed into a corner and must slide into guard to avoid being picked up. "Decaf Latte" takes advantage of a mental laps from Gustav Dias and moves into full mount. Gustav Dias gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Gustav Dias starts to wiggle out of back control, Grande lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Ribeiro shoots a takedown from a distance putting Dias on the ground. Ribeiro takes advantage of a mental laps from Dias and moves into full mount. Gustav Dias gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Grande peppers Dias with several shots to the face. Grande tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Grande Ribeiro snaps back the head of Dias with a stiff jab. "Decaf Latte" narrowly dodges a cross from Gustav Dias, but falls catching him in his guard. Grande Ribeiro attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. "The Gangster" traps Grande in the cage, landing a few strong punches to the face and body. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. "The Gangster" grabs the plum and tosses "Decaf Latte" to the ground. "The Gangster" lays into Grandes thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Grande does so. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 "Decaf Latte" is hit with a jab-cross and then brutally shoved to the ground. Gustav falls into his guard, delivering a strong punch as he does so. Gustav Dias pulls out of the guard of Grande, stands up, feels it out, and drops a huge right hand to the jaw of Grande. Gustav attempts to pass Ribeiros guard, and does so, but receives multiple strikes in the attempt. Grande Ribeiro gets pummeled by the fists of "The Gangster". Grande Ribeiro gives up his back in an attempt to escape, but doesn't quite make it. Grande tries to explode out the backdoor but "The Gangster" sinks in both hooks, continually landing outside strikes. Grande falls flat to protect himself. Ribeiro starts to wiggle out of back control, Gustav Dias lets him escape putting them both on their feet. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. "The Gangster" works to Grande Ribeiros back while standing. "The Gangster" throws a couple of outside shots until "Decaf Latte" is able to work his way back to the clinch. Dias grabs the plum and pulls Grande Ribeiros face towards a powerful knee which is blocked. Dias lets go of the hold and lands a hook. Gustav Dias connects with a right that puts "Decaf Latte" off balance tumbling to the mat, as Gustav Dias towers over him. Dias lays into Grande Ribeiros thighs with some well timed kicks while "Decaf Latte" is grounded. The bell signals the end of round 3.
Round 4 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. An attempt at a clinch takedown from Dias is defended well by "Decaf Latte". Dias grabs an overhook, steps to the side to land two haymaker body shots, then an uppercut. Dias returns to the clinch. Grande Ribeiro takes the back of Dias who works for a kimura. Grande Ribeiro pulls his arm out of the hold and push Dias away. Dias lands a hook to the body. Gustav circles Grande, mixing jabs with body shots. A wild hook from Dias is ducked by Grande Ribeiro who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. A looping right hook from Ribeiro sends Gustav Dias to the mat. "Decaf Latte" throws a short kick to the downed Gustav Dias. Gustav Dias takes the chance to rise back to his feet.Round 4 comes to a close.
Round 5 Dias blocks a tight hook from "Decaf Latte" and counters with a shovel punch and cross that has "Decaf Latte" stumbling backwards. Dias stalks him across the canvas. Dias slips a cross from Ribeiro and lands jab cross to the body. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. While tied up, Grande Ribeiro is met with a hard uppercut. Ribeiro attempts a takedown but slips, and "The Gangster" backs away. "The Gangster" is standing over Ribeiro. "The Gangster" drops a huge strike to Grande Ribeiros chin, landing into his guard. The bell signals the end of round 5.
