Round 1 "Macho Man" narrowly dodges a cross from "The Boss", but falls catching him in his guard. A couple of hard outside strikes opens up Randall Stevensons guard and "The Boss" is able to move to half guard. Roy is able to slip into mount from the half guard. "The Boss" maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Randall Stevenson gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Roy tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Randall Stevenson tries to stand up but "The Boss" plants him back down with several strikes. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 A jab from "The Boss" is blocked and a cross is returned by Stevenson. Roy Ross fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Stevenson. Roy Ross throws a short elbow at Randall Stevenson. Stevenson locks up Ross and launches him over his leg, putting him into half guard. Randall Stevenson tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. Randall Stevenson is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 Roy Ross sends Randall Stevenson to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. "The Boss" pushes down "Macho Mans" leg, allowing him to pass guard into half guard. Roy Ross is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Ross secures his position. "Macho Man" gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Roy Ross peppers Randall with several shots to the face. Roy peppers Stevenson with several shots to the face. The bell signals the end of round 3.
Round 4 Ross is staggered by a jab to the chin. "Macho Man" keeps Roy at a distance with some well timed jabs. Randall keeps Roy at a distance with some well timed jabs. "Macho Man" connects with a series of punches forcing Roy Ross into a clinch. Roy gets double underhooks, and unleashes unanswered knees to the midsection. "Macho Man" works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Ross is caught with a standing kimura from the clinch. Randall rolls through with it landing in mount. The round comes to an end.
Round 5 Ross takes Randall Stevenson down to the mat with a good double leg takedown, leading to him standing over Randall Stevenson. Roy stands over Randall Stevenson, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Randall Stevenson is able to grab an arm and pull Roy into his guard. Ross dodges a few strikes from Randall and cuts him open with a couple of powerful elbows. "The Boss" takes advantage of a mental laps from Randall Stevenson and moves into full mount. Randall attempts to escape mount but has no luck. Randall gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Roy begins to look for a rear naked choke, but "Macho Man" rolls to being mounted instead. "The Boss" secures his position. Round 5 comes to a close.
