Round 1
Moreno parries Markovs jab and connect with a cross. Petrov is hit with a jab and then taken down with a strong trip takedown. Petrov is hit with a series of powerful punches while utilizing the guard. Ramon Moreno defends a triangle attempt, throwing Markov Petrovs straight leg over his head and makes a move for side control. "The Soviet Superstar" is able to hold him to half guard. Ramon Moreno tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. Ramon slips out of half guard and into side control. "The Soviet Superstar" gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Markov starts to wiggle out of back control, Moreno lets him escape putting them both on their feet. A lazy leg kick from Petrov is caught by Ramon who lands a huge overhand right, flooring Petrov. Round 1 comes to a close.

Round 2
Petrov catches a leg kick from "El Diablo", and puts him on the mat. Markov Petrov passes through Ramon Morenos guard into mount. Moreno gives his back up trying to escape the mount. "El Diablo" starts to wiggle out of back control, Petrov lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Markov Petrov stuffs a shot from Moreno and hits him with a hard hook to the temple and pushes him to take his guard. Markov Petrov drops a few strong punches, opening up Ramon Morenos guard, giving him a chance to pass to mount. Moreno gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Petrov tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Markov Petrov begins to look for a rear naked choke, but Moreno rolls to being mounted instead. Round 2 comes to a close.

Round 3
"El Diablo" attempts a takedown, but "The Soviet Superstar" clumsily falls down without much provocation. Ramon drops a huge strike to Petrovs chin, landing into his guard. "The Soviet Superstar" is hit with a series of powerful punches while utilizing the guard. Moreno distracts Markov with peppering shots. Moreno then isolates a leg and sinks a achilles lock. Markov is able to force his way out but gives up mount in the ensuing scramble. "El Diablo" secures his position. "The Soviet Superstar" gets pummeled by the fists of Ramon Moreno. "The Soviet Superstar" gives up his back in an attempt to escape, but doesn't quite make it. Ramon Moreno attempts to lock in a rear naked choke, but Markov Petrov rolls into to mount to cleverly avoid it. Ramon Moreno is pulled in tight, and then switched over on his back. Markov Petrov is now caught in "El Diablos" guard. Round 3 comes to a close.

Round 4
"El Diablo" snaps back the head of Markov with a stiff jab. "The Soviet Superstar" throws a push kick. Ramon Moreno shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Markov Petrovs nose. The fighters circle each other. Ramon Moreno takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. A welt begins to form under Morenos eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Markov. Ramon is sent crashing to the mat by a powerful right hook. The round comes to an end.

Round 5
Ramon Moreno throws a push kick. Markov Petrov shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Ramon Morenos nose. "The Soviet Superstar" circles Moreno, mixing jabs and leg kicks. "The Soviet Superstar" gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. Giving up his back, Markov panics and gives up mount instead. Markov Petrov attempts to escape mount but has no luck. Moreno begins to lose position so switches back to side control. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
