Round 1 Will Rowly throws a cross that easily dodged by Leon. Rowly snaps back the head of Leon Gray with a stiff jab. Leon executes a single leg giving him the back of Rowly. Rowly rolls back into being mounted. Leon splits Will Rowlys nose open with a well timed punch. Will gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Will attempts a takedown, but cannot finish it. Leon takes advantage of the moment taking side control. Leon slides his knee across the body of Will Rowly and takes full mount. Leon maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Will gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Gray slides off to the side of Will and lands several heavy knees into his ribs. Before he can lose the position, Gray switches back to full back control. Rowly rolls back into being mounted. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 Rowly takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Will stomps the feet of Gray. Rowly is able to work to two overhooks and lands some strong knees and short hooks. Rowly takes Leons back standing. Leon Gray isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but Rowly lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Leon Gray to release. Leon attempts a striking combination, but Will forces the clinch. Will lands a powerful knee to the face of Leon. Rowly connects with a stiff knee to the chin. Leon is dazed on the mat. Gray thrusts his leg into Will Rowlys knee while grounded. Will Rowly cannot find an opening to pounce. The ref brings Leon Gray back to his feet.Round 3 comes to a close.
Round 4 Leon Gray connects with a hard right hand putting Will Rowly on the mat. Leon Gray goes down with him into side control. Will Rowly takes a few knees to the body while under Grays side control. Leon drops some good elbows to the face of Will forcing him to give up his back. Rowly is able to make it back to the standing position. A double-leg shot is stuffed initially by Will Rowly but Leon is able to muscle through for a takedown, finishing in half guard. Will Rowly attempts to get to full guard but in the process gives up mount. Will gets pummeled by the fists of Leon. Will gives up his back in an attempt to escape, but doesn't quite make it. Will starts to wiggle out of back control, Leon Gray lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Will Rowly takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. A shot from Leon is countered by a guillotine from Will. Leon follows through with a slam, landing in side mount, nullifying the choke. Rowly gives his back in an attempt to get out of side control. As Leon Gray spins around to take it, Rowly makes his way back to his feet. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 5 A wild hook from Will Rowly is ducked by Gray who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. Rowly is hit with a jab and then taken down by a beautiful single-leg takedown. Will connects with several chop shots from the bottom. Will Rowly backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
