Round 1
Whelan shuffles away from Belforts strikes and lands a powerful chopping kick to the lead leg. Belfort backs away, obviously feeling the affects of the kick. Whelan fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Jad Belfort. An attempt at a clinch takedown from "The Real Deal" is defended well by Belfort. "The Real Deal" grabs an overhook, steps to the side to land two haymaker body shots, then an uppercut. "The Real Deal" returns to the clinch. Mark Whelan lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. Jad Belfort takes "The Real Deals" back standing. "The Real Deal" isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but Jad Belfort lands a sharp shovel punch that forces "The Real Deal" to release. Whelan snaps back the head of Jad with a stiff jab. Whelan hits an uppercut to the head of Belfort followed by a hard hook. Mark Whelan is hit with a jab then a hook to the body and stumbles backward. Belfort tries to press the action but is met with a push kick from Mark Whelan that puts him on the floor. The round comes to an end.

Round 2
"Dont be Afraid Fight" is caught square on the jaw putting him to the canvas, "The Real Deal" prepares to pounce, but "Dont be Afraid Fight" gets his bearings just in time. Whelan lays into Belforts thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. "Dont be Afraid Fight" does so. Jad Belfort is hit with a hook and a shovel punch and stumbles backward. Mark explodes forward with a push kick that puts Jad Belfort on the canvas. Mark grabs a foot and kicks at "Dont be Afraid Fights" thighs. He then backs off and "Dont be Afraid Fight" stands back up. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Mark Whelan gets double underhooks, and unleashes unanswered knees to the midsection. Jad attempts a knee but is taken down by a basic trip. Whelan lands in half guard. "The Real Deal" slams his knee into Jad Belforts ribs. Mark is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Round 2 is over.

Round 3
Belfort lands a lunging, looping hook to Marks temple. Mark Whelan fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Belfort. Belfort drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Mark Whelan sets a guillotine choke but Belfort slips out at the last moment. Belfort is now caught in guard. Mark attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. Whelan connects with a hard punch making Jad Belfort bring him in to a tight clinch. "The Real Deal" connects with a stiff knee to the chin. "Dont be Afraid Fight" is dazed on the mat. Mark Whelan stands over Jad Belfort, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Jad Belfort cannot trap him in his guard and pushes him away instead. Round 3 comes to a close.

Round 4
"Dont be Afraid Fight" connects with a hard jab as Whelan attempts a wide outside hook. "The Real Deal" connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of "Dont be Afraid Fight". "The Real Deal" connects with a series of punches forcing "Dont be Afraid Fight" into a clinch. "Dont be Afraid Fight" recieves a strong elbow opening up the clinch. Mark Whelan is hit with a jab then a hook to the body and stumbles backward. Jad tries to press the action but is met with a push kick from Mark Whelan that puts him on the floor. Mark pounces on "Dont be Afraid Fight", but is met with a powerful upkick. Mark manages to land into side control though. Round 4 is over.

Round 5
Jad throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. "The Real Deal" is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. Mark Whelan dodges a jab and lands a kick to the face of "Dont be Afraid Fight". Mark locks in a tight muay thai clinch and lands several knees to the ribs of Jad Belfort. Mark takes "Dont be Afraid Fights" back standing. "Dont be Afraid Fight" isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but Mark lands a sharp shovel punch that forces "Dont be Afraid Fight" to release. Belfort begins a combination but Mark ducks down, picking Jad Belforts leg. Mark lifts Jad Belforts leg as high as he can and throws a sweeping leg kick. Whelan lays into "Dont be Afraid Fights" thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Jad does so. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
