Round 1 Andreas Petersen hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of "Nightfall". "Alpha" narrowly dodges a cross from Nao, but falls catching him in his guard. "Alpha" connects with some unorthodox punches from the bottom position. Andreas sinks a kimura, but cannot finish. He settles for a switch into mount. Andreas secures his position. Petersen punishes Nao with a series of strikes from the mount. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 Nakao catches a leg kick from Andreas, and puts him on the mat. Petersen begins to posture on his side. "Nightfall" lands a couple of outside hooks and Petersen returns to the guard. Nakao sits up in Andreass open guard and spins to an leg lock. Petersen is able to gator-roll out of it and make it to standing. Nao Nakao hits an uppercut to the head of Andreas followed by a hard hook. "Nightfall" connects with a strong right hook. Nao wraps around Petersens waist, and drags him to his back, taking side control Nao lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Nao Nakao attempts an armbar, but "Alpha" stops the attempt. Nao Nakao uses the oppurtunity to take mount. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 Petersen connects with a jab cross combination. "Nightfall" throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. "Alpha" is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. Andreas Petersen connects with a hard jab as Nao attempts a wide outside hook. Nakao moves in to press the action, but Andreas lands a heavy back kick. Nao connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Andreas. Andreas snaps back the head of "Nightfall" with a stiff jab. The bell signals the end of round 3.
Round 4 "Alpha" is cornered by Nao who tries to press the action. "Alpha" is able to block well and circles away from Nao, delivering a chopping leg kick and a grazing cross as he does so. "Nightfall" fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Petersen. Andreas takes the back of Nao who works for a kimura. Andreas pulls his arm out of the hold and push Nao away. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. "Alpha" places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. "Nightfall" goes for a hip throw of his own, but Andreas Petersen is able to counter it, sending "Nightfall" to the ground. Nao takes a few knees to the body while under Petersens side control. Petersen lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Round 4 is over.
Round 5 "Alpha" lands a solid kick to the front leg of Nao Nakao. Petersen connects with a hard punch making Nao bring him in to a tight clinch. Petersen places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Nao Nakao is sent to the floor with a spring hip throw. Nakao tries to slip his leg out to get full guard, but is having difficulty. Andreas Petersen is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Round 5 is over.
