Skip sneaks a foot behind Martels leg and takes him to the mat, landing in side control. Clark lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Skip drops some hammer fists on Gifford. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Clark connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Gifford fakes a push kick, switching into a roundhouse to the head of "Ice Cream Sandwich". Skip Clark is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. Martel dodges a jab and lands a kick to the face of Skip. "Ice Cream Sandwich" throws a powerful left hook, but is met with a strong jab from Martel. Skip hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. Round 4 Clark is staggered by a jab to the chin. Gifford connects with jab cross combination. Martel throws a few jabs at Skip that miss the mark. After dodging a jab-cross, Martel lands a kick to the liver of Skip Clark who steps back and begins to take a knee. Martel rushes forward to capitalize but Skip Clark stands back up and is met by a strong cross-uppercut that again backs him up. Clark moves in to press the action, but Martel lands a heavy back kick. A jab from Clark is blocked and a cross is returned by Gifford. Gifford connects with a brutal kick to the liver of Skip who falls to the ground. Gifford waves him back to his feet. Round 4 comes to a close.
Round 5 Skip connects with a hard punch making Martel bring him in to a tight clinch. Skip works to Martels back while standing. Skip throws a couple of outside shots until Gifford Martel is able to work his way back to the clinch. Skip escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Skip Clark circles Gifford, landing jabs and crosses at will. Martel throws a teep backing Clark off. Skip is on the receiving end of a good punching combination from Gifford. Skip Clark catches a leg kick and fires a hard punch to the head dropping Gifford Martel. Clark attempts to drop a fist on Gifford Martel, but misses and lands in his guard. The bell signals the end of round 5.
