Round 1 Karl fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Dean Allen. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Dean Allen recieves a strong elbow opening up the clinch. Dean Allen presses forward and grazes Karl Allen with a combo. Karl Allen wants none of the stand up and clinches with Dean Allen to then savagely throw him down to the ground. Karl Allen drops a huge strike to Deans chin, landing into his guard. Karl takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Dean Allens guard. It doesn't pay off as Dean makes his way to standing. A couple of powerful body shots forces Dean back to the corner. Karl Allen swims to double underhooks. Dean cannot stop Karl Allen from stepping back and taking him to the floor. "Doctor K" attempts an armbar. Karl Allen time a spin perfectly landing a strong overhand as he works his way into Deans guard. Dean works for a triangle but Karl throws Deans straight leg over his head and makes it to half guard. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Karl takes a punch and goes to the mat, Dean Allen pounces into side control. Karl recovers quickly. "Doctor K" slides his knee across the body of Karl and takes full mount. Karl shifts his head and hips to keep Dean off balance and unable to land strikes. Dean Allen telegraphs his motions for an armbar, but Karl gives up his back to stop the attempt. Karl Allen carefully protects himself from Deans strikes. Dean Allen peppers Karl Allen with several shots to the face. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 Karl Allen is hit with a jab and then taken down by a beautiful single-leg takedown. Karl Allen is caught in a can opener and opens his guard. He lands two quick strikes but Dean Allen transitions to half guard. Dean Allen is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Dean maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Karl Allen gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Karl Allen tries to explode out the backdoor but Dean Allen sinks in both hooks, continually landing outside strikes. Karl Allen falls flat to protect himself. "Doctor K" lands one solid shot the chin. Karl Allen goes limp and it's over.
