After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Barry Thomas gets double underhooks, and unleashes unanswered knees to the midsection. Barry Thomas decides to abandon the clinch by pulling guard and bringing Stan Hughes with him. Hughes drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Barry Thomas begins to work the rubber guard. Barry Thomas connects with some unorthodox punches from the bottom position. Stan loses his position, allowing Thomas to slip behind and lock in a rear naked choke. Stan quickly taps out.
