Round 1
After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Yoshiro works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Ovchinnikov takes Yoshiro Ochidas back standing. Ochida isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but Ovchinnikov lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Ochida to release. Ochida hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. Ochida lands a jab, but it is returned by a sick uppercut from Ovchinnikov. Shurochka hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. Ochida takes down Shurochka Ovchinnikov, but remains standing over him. Yoshiro Ochida stands over Shurochka Ovchinnikov, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Shurochka Ovchinnikov is able to grab an arm and pull Yoshiro Ochida into his guard. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.

Round 2
Ovchinnikov is staggered by a jab to the chin. Yoshiro Ochida connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Shurochka. Yoshiro connects with a hard punch making Shurochka Ovchinnikov bring him in to a tight clinch. Shurochka attempts a takedown from the clinch, but Yoshiro pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. Yoshiro sends Ovchinnikov to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Yoshiro sits up in Shurochkas open guard and spins to an leg lock. Ovchinnikov is able to gator-roll out of it and make it to standing. Ochida narrowly dodges a cross from Ovchinnikov, but falls catching him in his guard. Yoshiro Ochida powers out sweeping Shurochka Ovchinnikov with pure strength. Yoshiro Ochida is now in side control. Shurochka takes a few knees to the body while under Ochidas side control. Ochida locks a kimura from side control. Ovchinnikov makes the mistake of trying to roll into Ochida and the Ochida sets the lock perfectly. Ovchinnikov taps after a short struggle.
