Round 1 Mendoza dodges a jab and throws a knee to the midsection of Chad Jones. Domingo Mendoza lands a hook to the body then a straight cross to the sternum. Jones moves in to press the action, but Mendoza lands a heavy back kick. Chad Jones does a good job to circle away from Mendoza but becomes too predictable and Mendoza lands a switch kick to Joness ribs. Chad is able to press Domingo to the cage, forcing a momentary clinch. Domingo wriggles out of the clinch and throws looping hooks to back Chad off. Jones connects with a hard jab as Mendoza attempts a wide outside hook. Mendoza ducks and weaves through a quick combo from Chad Jones and knocks him back with a shovel punch to the jaw. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Chad Jones parries a jab but leaves himself open for a hard cross. Domingo Mendoza throws a push kick. Chad Jones shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Domingos nose.
Chad ducks and weaves through a jab-cross combo but is hit with a nasty uppercut. After dodging a jab, Chad lands a kick to the liver of Mendoza who steps back only to take a knee from the pain. Chad rushes forward and finishes Mendoza with an uppercut.
