Round 1 Phillips throws a wild punch, putting him off balance. A few well timed strikes from "Black Suited" puts Phillips on the mat giving his back up. Matteo lands a double punch to the head of Phillips. Gregory starts to wiggle out of back control, Matteo lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Rossi shoots in for a takedown but the attempt is stuffed by Gregory. Rossi sneaks a foot behind Gregorys leg and takes him to the mat, landing in side control. Matteo Rossi slides his knee across the body of Phillips and takes full mount. Phillips attempts to buck Rossi off from mount but Rossi keeps his base and maintains position. Matteo Rossi executes a double hand slap to the ears of Gregory. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 A jab from "Black Suited" is blocked and a cross is returned by Phillips. Gregory connects with a brutal kick to the liver of Matteo Rossi who falls to the ground. Gregory waves him back to his feet. Phillips connects with a teep to the face of Matteo Rossi. Phillips throws a few jabs at Matteo Rossi that miss the mark. Matteo Rossi is struck by some looping punches and kicks and goes for the clinch to shorten the distance. Phillips welcomes the clinch landing a lead knee and a powerful elbow. Then pushes Matteo Rossi back to striking distance. A wild hook from Matteo Rossi is ducked by Gregory who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. Gregory hits an uppercut to the head of "Black Suited" followed by a hard hook. Matteo Rossi is staggered by a jab to the chin. The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Phillips throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Rossi is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 Gregory turns to the side and bounces up and down in anticipation. Phillips circles Rossi, mixing jabs and leg kicks. Rossi throws a powerful left hook, but is met with a strong jab from Phillips. Gregory fakes a push kick, switching into a roundhouse to the head of "Black Suited". The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Phillips throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Matteo is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. Gregory rushes forward landing a quick succession of leg, body and head kicks sends Rossi back into the cage dizzied. Rossi lowers his hands to block a body kick, but Gregory switches to a high kick and rattles the jaw of Rossi.
