Round 1
Newton connects with a series of punches forcing Arthur into a clinch. Damarco receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Strickland. Arthur escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Strickland connects with 1-2 jab hook combo and quickly steps away. A wild hook from Arthur Strickland is ducked by Damarco who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. Arthur unleashes several furious punches at Damarco. The round comes to an end.

Round 2
Arthur Strickland connects with a strong body shot combo. Damarco fakes a shot and lunges forward pressing Strickland to the cage. Strickland swims for underhooks but is taken down in the process. "The Dragon " drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. An heel strike attempt is dodged by Newton and he traps Arthur Stricklands extended leg to move to half guard. Strickland holds the head of Damarco Newton close to avoid shots. Damarco Newton slams shots to his opponents ribs and throws hard elbows to the thighs. Round 3
Strickland shoots but "The Dragon " stuffs it, eventually working in a whizzer and landing some sharp knees that allows him to move to side mount. "The Dragon " slides his knee across the body of Arthur and takes full mount. "The Dragon " lands a double punch to the head of Strickland. Arthur gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Newton slides to the side and spanks the butt of Arthur Strickland in a sign of disrespect. The crowd laughs uncontrollably. Damarco locks in a body triangle as he takes shots at Arthur. The bell signals the end of round 3.
