Round 1
The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. "The Dragon " narrowly dodges a cross from Jeremy Kelly, but falls catching him in his guard. Jeremy Kelly frees a leg and moves into half guard. Damarco hits an upward elbow on "Machine Gun", and attempts to get to full guard. During the scramble though "Machine Gun" takes side control. The round comes to an end.

Round 2
Damarco shoots in and executes a textbook single leg takedown, giving him side control. "The Dragon " slides his knee across the body of Jeremy Kelly and takes full mount. Newton secures his position. "Machine Gun" gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Damarco Newton peppers shot to the head of Jeremy looking for an opening to apply a rear naked choke but Jeremy is hand playing well. Damarco Newton peppers Jeremy with several shots to the face. Round 2 comes to a close.

Round 3
Jeremy lands a solid kick to the front leg of "The Dragon ". Kelly connects with a right that puts Newton off balance tumbling to the mat, as Kelly towers over him. "Machine Gun" lays into Newtons thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Damarco Newton does so. "Machine Gun" connects with a right that puts Damarco off balance tumbling to the mat, as "Machine Gun" towers over him. Kelly attempts to drop a fist on Damarco, but misses and lands in his guard. Damarco Newton starts to lock a triangle. Jeremy Kelly postures up and Jeremy Kelly settles for a few stiff chops to Damarco Newtons face. Damarco Newton sinks a kimura fromt he bottom but cannot finish. He rolls Kelly over to gain mount but Kelly is able to achieve half guard with a great scramble. Damarco Newton releases the kimura. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
