Round 1 Dante Testa eats a stiff kick to the face. Dante hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. Dante attempts to press in on Maric but is met with powerful inside-leg kicks. Dante Testa blocks a strong high kick from Maric and counters with a devastating left hook. Both fighters move in to strike but miss their marks. As they jockey for position in the clinch Dante wins the momentum battle and falls into side control on top of Vito. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Dante works Vito into the cage from the clinch. Dante presses his head under Vito Marics chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Dante Testa takes the back of Vito who works for a kimura. Dante Testa pulls his arm out of the hold and push Vito away. Maric weaves through a jab-cross combo but is met with a strong knee. Vito Maric throws a hard jab but Testa throws a cross right over the top rocking Vito Maric. Dante throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Vito is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. Testa connects with a right that puts Maric off balance tumbling to the mat, as Testa towers over him. Dante lays into Vito with some stomps. Vito can't handle it as the ref stops the fight.
