Round 1 After dodging a jab-cross, Dante lands a kick to the liver of Assis Belfort who steps back and begins to take a knee. Dante rushes forward to capitalize but Assis Belfort stands back up and is met by a strong cross-uppercut that again backs him up. Belfort looks to press the action with a flurry of punches but Testa lands a strong lead-leg kick and circles away. Dante Testa lands a solid kick to the inside thigh of "Thicker Than Oatmeal". Dante Testa throws a combination of punches ducking and feinting return shots. Dante Testa smiling with his hands down as he shuffles in and out. Belfort angrily starts missing with haymakers. "Thicker Than Oatmeal" is rocked by a standing elbow strike. Dante Testa presses forward landing a couple more strikes, but "Thicker Than Oatmeal" survives the onslaught with well timed blocks. Dante Testa unleashes a flurry of punches on Belfort. Assis Belfort connects with a jab cross combination. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 Dante Testa connects with a series of punches forcing "Thicker Than Oatmeal" into a clinch. Dante Testa works to Assiss back while standing. Dante Testa throws a couple of outside shots until Belfort is able to work his way back to the clinch. Testa takes the back of Belfort who works for a kimura. Testa pulls his arm out of the hold and push Belfort away. Belfort lands a solid kick to the front leg of Testa. Dante Testa fakes a push kick, switching into a roundhouse to the head of Assis. Dante Testa catches a leg kick from "Thicker Than Oatmeal", and puts him on the mat. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Testa takes Belforts back standing. Belfort isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but Testa lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Belfort to release. "Thicker Than Oatmeal" feints and follows up with a hard cross. Dante stalks forward paws away with a couple jabs missing the mark. Assis takes in a well composed combination of quick strikes from Dante Testa. Dante Testa connects with a jab cross combination. Belfort catches a leg kick and fires a hard punch to the head dropping Dante Testa. "Thicker Than Oatmeal" lays into Dantes thighs with some well timed kicks while Dante is grounded. The bell signals the end of round 3.
