Round 1 Cannon fakes a shot and lunges forward pressing Selton to the cage. Selton swims for underhooks but is taken down in the process. Selton Benecio begins to posture on his side. Jean lands a couple of outside hooks and Selton Benecio returns to the guard. Jean Cannon takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in "Kumites" guard. It doesn't pay off as "Kumite" makes his way to standing. Both fighters begin to exchange Jean Cannon catches Selton Benecio with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Selton Benecio gather himself. Selton Benecio says he is ok and the fight continues. Benecio takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Cannon wraps around "Kumites" waist, and drags him to his back, taking side control Cannon drops some hammer fists on Benecio. Benecio takes a few knees to the body while under Jeans side control. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 Jean is showing signs of frustration as Selton Benecio moves around the ring like he owns it punishing him with strikes. Selton is pressed into the cage by Cannon. He is able to switch Cannon into the cage and land a couple of looping hooks before backing away. Selton parries Jean Cannons jab and lands a liver shot. Jean Cannon lands a jab, but it is returned by a sick uppercut from Selton Benecio. Jean Cannon is struck by a ball kick from Selton Benecio that causes him to stumble backwards. Benecio pushes away from Jean and lands a strong chopping kick to the lead leg. Jean shoots in from a distance and knocks "Kumite" down with such force he ends up on his stomach. Jean scrambles to his back.Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 A welt begins to form under Jeans eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Selton Benecio. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Selton works to Jean Cannons back while standing. Selton throws a couple of outside shots until Jean is able to work his way back to the clinch. Jean Cannon receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Benecio. "Kumite" takes Cannons back standing. Jean isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but "Kumite" lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Jean to release. "Kumite" lands two crisp punches that wobbles Jean. Jean shakes his head and "Kumite" responds with a mocking wobble of his own. Selton Benecio connects with numerous jabs to the face of Jean. Selton Benecio just misses with a head kick, grazing Cannons skull. Selton drops his hands and motions for Jean Cannon to try and hit him. Round 3 is over.
