Round 1 Cole winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Branden Cole counters a jab with a stiff uppercut. Kyle Moore ducks and weaves through a jab-cross combo but is hit with a nasty uppercut. Moore parries a jab but leaves himself open for an uppercut. Both fighters move in to strike but miss their marks. As they jockey for position in the clinch "Kumite" wins the momentum battle and falls into side control on top of Moore. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 Cole presses forward, grabbing the plum and lands a strong hook, buckling Kyle to the mat. Cole follows him into the guard. Moore begins to posture on his side. "Kumite" lands a couple of outside hooks and Moore returns to the guard. Cole takes advantage of a mental laps from Kyle Moore and moves into full mount. "Holds The Door" gives his back up trying to escape the mount. "Kumite" tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Kyle Moore starts to wiggle out of back control, Cole lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Branden connects with a hard punch making "Holds The Door" bring him in to a tight clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. "Kumite" escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Moore parries a jab but leaves himself open for a uppercut that sends him to the canvas. Branden Cole stands over "Holds The Door", works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. "Holds The Door" is able to grab an arm and pull Branden Cole into his guard. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 Kyle circles Cole, landing jabs and crosses at will. Branden Cole circles Moore, landing jabs at will. "Holds The Door" is rocked by a standing elbow strike. Branden presses forward landing a couple more strikes, but "Holds The Door" survives the onslaught with well timed blocks. "Holds The Door" blocks a strong high kick from "Kumite" and counters with a devastating left hook. Moore throws a push kick. Branden shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Kyles nose.
A powerful elbow has Moore stepping back dazed. Branden Cole lands an inside leg kick and a cross, then grabs the plum and tosses Moore to the ground. The bell signals the end of round 3.
