Round 1 Cyrus takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Jean Cannon narrowly dodges a cross from Cyrus Gad, but falls catching him in his guard. Jean fires elbows off his back to the top of the head of "The Virus". Cyrus Gad attempts to drop bombs while caught in the guard, but Jean Cannon takes the chance to switch Cyrus Gad over to mount him. "The Virus" attempts to escape mount but has no luck. "The Virus" bucks off Jean and sweeps him over taking side control. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Jean fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Cyrus Gad. "The Virus" works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Jean Cannon dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with "The Virus" standing over him. Gad attempts to drop a fist on Jean, but misses and lands in his guard. Jean goes for a kimura from the bottom, but Cyrus Gad slips out at the last second. Cannon fires elbows off his back to the top of the head of "The Virus". Cannon is hit with a series of powerful punches while utilizing the guard. Jean Cannon fires elbows off his back to the top of the head of "The Virus". The round comes to an end.
Round 3 Jean Cannon circles "The Virus", mixing jabs and leg kicks. Jean sends Gad to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Cyrus is hit with a series of powerful punches while utilizing the guard. Jean Cannon defends a triangle attempt, throwing Cyrus Gads straight leg over his head and makes a move for side control. Gad is able to hold him to half guard. Jean Cannon tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. Gad hits an upward elbow on Jean Cannon, and attempts to get to full guard. During the scramble though Jean Cannon takes side control. Cannon delivers knees to the body and sharp forearms to the head forcing Gad to turn over. Cannon takes the back. Cyrus starts to wiggle out of back control, Cannon lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Cannon catches a leg kick and fires a hard punch to the head dropping Cyrus Gad. Round 3 is finished.
