Round 1 Miko Kava is met with a strong kick to the ribs. Bouchard connects with jab cross combination. Leon hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Kava. Bouchard is cornered by Miko Kava who tries to press the action. Bouchard is able to block well and circles away from Miko Kava, delivering a chopping leg kick and a grazing cross as he does so. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 A running flurry from Leon is countered by a well-timed shovel punch from Miko. Miko follows up with a powerful kick to the midsection. Kava connects with 1-2 jab hook combo and quickly steps away. Leon Bouchard hunts down his opponent and throws 2 heavy haymakers that get nothing but air. Leon throws a cross that easily dodged by Miko. A wild hook from Leon Bouchard is ducked by Miko who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. A low kick is shin checked by Kava who retaliates with a superman punch that floors Leon Bouchard. Kava moves back until the ref stands Leon Bouchard up. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 Leon is struck by some looping punches and kicks and goes for the clinch to shorten the distance. Miko Kava welcomes the clinch landing a lead knee and a powerful elbow. Then pushes Leon back to striking distance. The fighters circle each other. Leon Bouchard is on the receiving end of a good punching combination from Kava. Miko Kava is pressed into the cage by Bouchard. He is able to switch Bouchard into the cage and land a couple of looping hooks before backing away. Bouchard lands a solid kick to the front leg of Kava. Miko Kava gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. The bell signals the end of round 3.
