Round 1 Jean Cannon is hit with a jab and then taken down by a beautiful single-leg takedown. Jean Cannon dodges some ground strikes from Junior Aquino, and sends a few back of his own. Junior takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Jeans guard. It doesn't pay off as Cannon makes his way to standing. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Aquino circles Jean Cannon, landing jabs at will. "Dead Pinoy" locks around the waist of Cannon. He sneaks his foot behind Cannons and trips him to the floor, taking side control. Jean takes a few knees to the body while under Juniors side control. Junior delivers knees to the body and sharp forearms to the head forcing Cannon to turn over. Junior takes the back. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 "Dead Pinoy" connects with a hard punch making Cannon bring him in to a tight clinch. Jean Cannon receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Junior Aquino. Junior Aquino takes the back of Jean who works for a kimura. Junior Aquino pulls his arm out of the hold and push Jean away. "Dead Pinoy" takes down Jean Cannon, but remains standing over him. "Dead Pinoy" drops a huge strike to Jeans chin, landing into his guard. Junior takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Jeans guard. It doesn't pay off as Jean makes his way to standing. "Dead Pinoy" feints a takedown attempt and connects with a left hook dropping Jean. "Dead Pinoy" dives into guard. Junior covers the mouth and nose of Jean Cannon to effect his breathing. Junior Aquino opens up the guard and rises back to his feet. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 Junior hits an uppercut to the head of Cannon followed by a hard hook. A welt begins to form under Jean Cannons eye after a strong cross-hook landed from "Dead Pinoy". Jean eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Aquino. A welt begins to form under Junior Aquinos eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Jean. Aquino keeps Jean at a distance with some well timed jabs. Aquino blocks a few strikes and moves in delivering a powerful belly-to-belly slam that knocks the wind out of Jean Cannon. Jean Cannon rolls avoid strikes to the face and Aquino takes advantage taking Jeans back. Round 3 is over.
